Be curious, not judgemental a quote from Walt Whitman.

The Truth About Judgment:

Judging shuts down and prevents us from understanding the full situation to a new truth that is not known yet. When we judge someone for something, we are actually judging ourselves as the very same thing. Be aware of that trait.

Be open minded
Seek to understand with an open mind.

Be curious
We can ask questions, gain information before forming a conclusion. There is something about a situation that we may not fully understand.

Be more accepting and willing
By accepting that we know nothing we open ourselves to learn new things, about the work around us; see the truth rather than fitting it into our own beliefs. Appreciate people for what they are.

Notice your thoughts
Remind yourself to observe your thoughts especially when you find yourself being judgmental.

When you begin to feel, you begin to understand.

Judging someone does not define who they are; it defines who you are.
