Video content is one of the most powerful tools you can use to connect with your audience. Whether you’re showing your face, offering a quick tip, or sharing client success stories, videos allow people to get to know you, and that builds trust faster than almost anything else.

But creating a brilliant video is just half the job. You’ve also got to market it properly, so it actually gets seen.

Start by thinking of each video as a content asset. Don’t just post it once and forget about it. Repurpose it into smaller clips or quotes for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or Facebook. A three-minute video can easily become three to five shorter posts.

Use strong headlines and captions. Think about what would make someone stop scrolling. Ask a question, share a bold statement, or highlight a key benefit in the first few seconds.

Add subtitles to every video. A large number of people watch without sound, especially on platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. Subtitles improve accessibility, professionalism, and watch time.

Include a clear call to action. If you want viewers to comment, visit your website, book a call, or share your video, say so. People are far more likely to take action when you guide them clearly.

Most importantly, show up consistently. One good video might get you some attention, but a steady flow of content will help you stay visible and position you as a go-to expert in your field.

Video marketing doesn’t have to be complicated. Just start with what you have, stay consistent, and let your personality shine through.
